Hi there, it’s me, Alyce! I'm so excited for this new week to come. It’s been a whole year since my last swallow study at the hospital, and this Tuesday, I’m scheduled for another one! I can’t wait to see how much progress I’ve made. I’m hoping it’ll be a big difference, and guess what? I get to see my OT (Occupational Therapist) again! I love hanging out with her, and it’s always fun to go to the hospital for a snack, too. So, here’s to another chance to learn and grow!

Before all that, I just want to take a moment to celebrate my dada. It's Father’s Day this Sunday, and I want to wish a Happy Dada Day to all the dadas, including my granddad, Dida Karel, and anyone celebrating this special day! I have a little poem that I want to share for my dada:

To My Papa, On Father’s Day

It’s our second time marking this day,
And though I can’t say much yet,
I see you.
I see how you show up—
With quiet strength, soft hands,
And eyes that always check if I’m okay.

We’ve carried long nights,
Worries we couldn’t name,
And still, you’ve made space for laughter.

I watch the way you move through the day—
Patient, thoughtful,
Always finding time to make me smile,
Even when the rest is hard.

You’ve helped me feel safe
When the world felt new and strange.
And as I keep growing—fast,
Maybe too fast—
I’ll keep looking for your footsteps to follow.

I’m lucky to have you, Dada! You make me feel safe, loved, and happy every single day. Can’t wait to give you lots of hugs and kisses this Sunday!

So, as I get ready for this exciting week, I just want to say thanks to everyone who loves and cares for me. And I’m looking forward to seeing how much I’ve grown and learning new things at my swallow study! Stay tuned for more stories and adventures from me.

A Father’s Day Celebration with Boujee and Dapper

Ahhh, Father’s Day. A day to celebrate the man, the myth, the legend…the Dads. You see, we, Boujee and Dapper, have a lot to say about this day, because well... we’re French Bulldogs, and when we have things to say, we don't hold back. A little bit of French humour here, a pinch of sass there... but today, we’re here to spill the tea about something very special — our Dads. Yes, that’s right! We are here to give a shout-out to the human we adore, especially the one we call Dada, Damian, the Dads.

Now, things may have changed a little since the arrival of Alyce (okay, okay, she’s pretty cute, we admit). But don’t get us wrong, we still have plenty of love for our Dads — no puppy jealousy here, no siree! The truth is, nothing, and we mean NOTHING, can measure the love we have for him. That’s why we thought we’d share our own Father’s Day collage, inspired by our very sophisticated (but slightly sassy) French Bulldog style.

Without further ado, here’s our pawdiculously wonderful collage — just for you, Dads.

We hope you’ll enjoy our little artsy bit. After all, what’s Father’s Day without a little laughter, some paw-sitive vibes, and plenty of treats to go around? We may still steal your snacks, but we’ll always make sure you know just how much we love you.
