Growing Up So Fast!

Wow, I can’t believe I’m almost 1.5 years old! Time is flying by so quickly, and I’m growing and learning more every day. Just this week, my dietitian came to visit, and she measured me. Can you believe it? I’m 84 cm tall now! I’m getting so tall, just like my parents! I guess I’ve inherited some good genes. I’m so proud of myself!

So, as I get ready for my swallow study next week (which I’m kind of nervous about, but also excited for), let me tell you about something that happened this week that really gave my parents a scare. You know how much I love food, right? Well, I was enjoying lunch with mom and dad on Monday, and I decided to be a little adventurous. I had some hard tortilla chips with Cheerios. Sounds like a fun combo, right? But, uh-oh, things didn’t go as planned. I started choking, and my parents jumped into action right away. My dad turned me over on his knee and did exactly what he was supposed to do, but mom, being the super cautious mom that she is, called 911 just to be sure. It was scary, but I’m okay now! Just another story to tell when I’m older.

Now let’s talk about something much sweeter—my Daps ! That’s Dapper, of course. I absolutely love him! After I wake up from my nap, I sit in my crib and call for him. Sometimes, he comes right over to my bed, and I can pet him through the mesh. He’s so fluffy and sweet, and we have so much love for each other. I can’t wait to spend more time with him!

And then there's Boujee. Oh, Boujee! We share the best love for food and ducks together. Whenever there’s something yummy around, Boujee’s right there, ready to join in. Food is always a fun adventure with her!

This week, my dada was away on a work trip. I missed him so much, and I kept asking for him. But guess what? He’s back now! Dada is home, and I’m so happy! We’re back to all the fun adventures together.
