Villlhelllm: How do You even Spell It?
Tiny Tales from Alyce’s Weekly Wonders

Hi there, it’s Alyce!
First up, let me tell you, I went to my cousin Noelle’s graduation. Wow, that was a big event! There were so many people, from little kids to grown-ups, and the school was bustling with noise and excitement. I loved walking around the school with Dad holding me. He showed me all sorts of interesting things, and I even got to meet some new faces. I am so proud of Noelle—congratulations, cousin!
After the graduation excitement, I got the green light for more puree tasting from my OT. Yay! This is all part of my training for a big swallow study next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I can’t wait to show everyone how good I’ve gotten at tasting all those yummy purees. Mom keeps making the most delicious mixes, and I just love trying them all.
To top off the week, my cousins and aunt from New York came to visit me for the very first time. At first, I was a bit shy. Meeting new people can be a little overwhelming, but it didn’t take long for me to warm up. Soon enough, we were all having a blast together. My cousin Anneelia was so funny—she made everyone laugh by saying, “I speak French: Louis Vuitton, Céline, MuMu.” And also “Dada sounds like Prada!” It was hilarious and made everyone giggle. We had a great day full of laughter and fun, and I’m already looking forward to more family visits!
Sending you big baby hugs and kisses!
Love,
Alyce
Family Connections: A Week of Smiles, Stories, and a Touch of DADA, or was that PRADA?
This week, our home was filled with the joyous energy that only family can bring. My sisters and nieces made the trek up from NYC to Canada, and finally, our little Alyce got to meet her Aunty and cousins in person. It was a whirlwind of smiles, stories, and, of course, food!
Watching Alyce interact with her extended family was nothing short of magical. Sure, it took her a little while to warm up (as it does with most toddlers), but once she did, the house echoed with laughter. My sisters and nieces have been watching her grow through our newsletters, but seeing her in person? They were blown away by how amazing our little girl truly is.
While I’ve been on this seemingly endless quest to get Alyce to say “Dad,” her cousins decided to throw a fashionable wrench in the works. They’ve introduced her to “PRADA.” Not quite “Dada,” but close enough to make me nervous! And as if one luxury brand wasn’t enough, they also attempted to teach her first French word: Louis Vuitton. At this rate, I’m expecting her first full sentence to be a fashion week review!
If “Prada” or “Louis Vuitton” ends up being her first word, you bet I’ll be reaching out for that baby influencer deal. Move over, Instagram models – Alyce is coming for your sponsorships!
On a slightly more frustrating note, my sister and I bonded over our shared technological woes. Turns out, we’re both in the same boat when it comes to migrating from Google Photos to Apple. Let me tell you, it’s about as fun as a root canal. It’s amazing how something meant to preserve our precious memories has become such a headache for so many of us.
As the visit came to an end, I couldn’t help but wish our family in the US lived closer. The distance makes these moments all the more precious, but it also makes saying goodbye that much harder.
Still, as I watched Alyce wave goodbye to her aunty and cousins, their faces beaming with love, I was reminded of the power of family connections. Distance may separate us, but the bonds we share are unbreakable.
Until next time, I’ll be here, attempting to counteract the “Prada” and “Louis Vuitton” influence and patiently waiting for that elusive “Dada.” Wish me luck.
Woof Woof! 🐾
Bonjour, paw-some friends! 🐾 It’s Boujee and Dapper, your favorite French bulldogs, here to bark about our latest adventures. And oh là là, do we have some juicy gossip for you this week!
So, imagine this: we’re lounging in the living room, just minding our own business (and by that, we mean chewing on a squeaky toy and napping), when suddenly—SURPRISE! Auntie Sheryl shows up on Tuesday. Now, Auntie Sheryl is like the queen of belly rubs. We were over the moon! We pranced, we danced, we even tried to do our best “good dog” sit (even though we all know Dapper’s sit is more of a flop).
Just when we thought the week couldn’t get any better, the weekend rolls around, and guess who walks through the door? Auntie Sharon AND our two cousins! Talk about a double dose of tail-wagging fun. Now, if you think seeing one auntie is amazing, imagine the pure bliss of having TWO aunties at the same place, at the same time! Mind blown, right?
The house was buzzing with excitement. We were surrounded by so much love and attention, it was like being in doggy heaven. Pets from Auntie Sheryl, and from Auntie Sharon, and playful barks with our cousins—it was a doggy dream come true. We even tried to convince them to stay forever, but apparently humans have “lives” and “responsibilities.” Weird.
There was this moment when everyone was in the living room, and we were literally in the middle of a petting circle. Dapper was on his back, getting his belly rubbed by Auntie Sheryl, while I, Boujee, was getting ear scratches from Auntie Sharon. Life doesn’t get better than that, folks.
And let’s not forget our cousins! They brought a whole new level of energy to the house. We chased, we wrestled, we played tug-of-war. By the end of the weekend, we were so tuckered out, we slept like puppies. Well, we are puppies, but you get the idea.
Life is always exciting in our household, but this week was off the leash! We’re so grateful for our amazing family, and we cherish every moment spent with them. Whether it’s surprise visits, endless cuddles, or simply being surrounded by love, we couldn’t ask for more.
Until next time, keep those tails wagging and remember: more aunties, more fun!
Pawfully yours,
Boujee & Dapper ❤️
