Villlhelllm: How do You even Spell It?

Tiny Tales from Alyce’s Weekly Wonders

Hello Everyone!

It’s Alyce here! Ready to share some exciting news with you! This week has been super fun and full of new things that make me smile and giggle a lot.

Guess what? I’ve been really curious about what my mom and dad eat. Whenever I see them munching on something, I want to taste it too! For the past three weeks, my mom has been giving me my bottle, and I get to taste a little bit of my formula. It’s so interesting and yummy! I still have my NG tube for feeding, but I love the moments when I get to taste things.

Speaking of tasting, I’ve been trying fruits and vegetables through my taste pacifier. It’s like a tiny party in my mouth! But the big news this week is that I went to see my OT at the hospital, and I got to try purées for the first time. It was so much fun! I loved it and now I get to have some purée once a day. I can’t wait to try more and more real food soon!

I also adore going on walks in my stroller. I sit up and look around at everything, taking in the big, beautiful world. Evening walks are my favorite because they help me fall asleep. Plus, I get to laugh and play with my two doggy friends and my amazing parents. Life is so wonderful!

Sending lots of love and baby giggles,

Alyce 💕

House Hilarity: A Day in the Life of Us

Greetings from our humble (and hilariously chaotic) abode! Everything is going pretty well around here, which is basically code for “we’re surviving and thriving…sort of.”

Let’s start with the tall one, Damian. He’s back to work and, oh boy, it’s like living with a meeting machine. Seriously, if you listen closely, you’ll hear the dulcet tones of “Can you see my screen?” and “I’ll be transparent with you.” If he actually shows up for lunch, it’s a rare and celebrated event, much like spotting a unicorn in the wild.

On the other side of the domestic circus, we have the ever-busy Kat. She’s the whirlwind taking care of the baby, and when she’s not on baby duty, she’s tackling house chores like a superhero with a never-ending to-do list.

Despite their hectic schedules and the fact that “couple time” is as elusive as a winning lottery ticket, there’s one tradition they never miss: writing the newsletter on Saturday evenings. Yes, folks, that’s right, instead of a romantic dinner or a movie night, they bond over the keyboard to bring you “Vilhelm,” their brainchild. Now, while “Vilhelm” holds a special meaning for them, it seems to escape the memories of friends and family faster than a dad joke at Thanksgiving.

And here’s where you come in! They’re cooking up some exciting new content and thought it might be time for a rebrand. So, they’re asking you to help choose a new name for the newsletter. Cast your vote or suggest in comments your favorite option below and help give this labor of love a fresh, unforgettable identity.

So, dear “Vilhelmians”, help us rename “Vilhelm” and be a part of this quirky, lovable chaos we call life.

Stay tuned, stay awesome, and most importantly, stay amused!

May the best name win!

Woof Woof! 🐾

Bonjour, paw-some friends! It’s Boujee and Dapper, the most sophisticated and stylish French bulldogs on the block! Today, we’re here to share our week of fun, sun, and just a sprinkle of mischief.

This week has been hotter than a fire hydrant in the dog days of summer. Now, normally, we love our walks—sniffing every tree, running after squirrels, and strutting our stuff for all the neighborhood pups to see. But with temperatures this high, we’ve had to skip our long walks and chill out indoors. Can you imagine us, majestic beings, lounging around like lazy cats? Unbelievable, right? But hey, hot weather means one thing: SUN! And sun means it’s time for Boujee’s favorite pastime—sunbathing by the front window.

Oh, the front window, my throne, my stage! There’s nothing like the warmth of the sun soaking into my fur as I gaze out at my kingdom. I stretch out, looking as glamorous as ever, while passersby marvel at my undeniable beauty. But wait, who’s that? Is that Dapper sneaking over to MY spot? Ugh, little brothers! Sometimes, he thinks he can just waltz in and take over. It’s not often, but when he does, I let him have it. After all, we French bulldogs have to share the love…occasionally. When Dapper decides to play king of the sunspot, I, Boujee, make a dramatic retreat under the sofa. Yes, under the sofa, where the shadows hide my royal presence. It’s my little hideaway, my fortress of solitude. The only problem? Once I’m under there, I tend to get…stuck.

Now, you’d think I’d call for help, but no, that’s not my style. I’m a silent sufferer, a stoic queen in distress. That’s where Kat, our human, comes in. She’s like our personal superhero, always rescuing me from my sofa predicament. It’s like playing hide and seek, except I never seek, I just hide! Kat eventually finds me, though. She’s got this sofa rescue mission down to an art. She pulls me out, dusts me off, and gives me a little pat. And just like that, I’m free to reclaim my sunny throne.

While Boujee is busy playing hide-and-seek under the sofa, I, Dapper, take my rightful place in the sun. Don’t let her tell you otherwise; I look just as fabulous soaking up those rays. But honestly, I prefer a good snuggle with baby Alyce. She’s our tiny human, and we adore her. We can’t wait for her to start crawling—it’s going to be a game changer! Family walks have become a whole new adventure with Alyce in tow. We love showing her the sights and sounds of the neighborhood. Plus, the extra attention we get is the icing on the kibble.

Alyce is the heart of our home. We watch over her, protect her, and occasionally lick her toes (they taste surprisingly delicious). She’s the best, and we can’t wait for her to join us on all fours. Imagine the fun we’ll have—Alyce crawling, Boujee sunbathing, and me, Dapper, leading the way! So, that’s our week in a nutshell: too hot for long walks, epic sunbathing sessions, daring sofa rescues, and endless love for baby Alyce. Life is good, les amis. Life is real good! Stay cool, stay fabulous, and remember: if you can’t take the heat, find a comfy spot under the sofa!

Paw-high-fives and wet-nosed kisses,

Boujee and Dapper ❤️
