Villlhelllm: How do You even Spell It?
If Our House Could Talk : Family Reunion in the Great White North: A Heartwarming Visit from NYC Relatives

As the days grow colder in our quaint little town, the warmth of family love seems to radiate even more brightly. This past week, we had the joy of welcoming some special guests from the bustling streets of New York City. Damian’s family, including the ever-charming Santino and Jackie, along with his delightful niece, Chantal, graced our home with laughter and heartwarming moments.
The excitement was palpable, especially among our four-legged family members. Boujee and Dapper, our resident French Bulldogs, were over the moon. Boujee, ever the alpha of the duo, remembered Santino’s legendary belly rubs and was quick to claim his share of affection. Dapper, with his cuteness and cuddliness, found an instant connection with Santino, offering puppy eyes and wagging tail as tokens of his joy.
This visit was particularly special as it marked the first time Damian’s niece met Katerina. The encounter was a beautiful blend of new bonds forming and old ties strengthening. Their laughter and conversations filled our walls with a sense of completeness and joy.
While the visit didn’t include any grand adventures or elaborate plans, it was the simple things that made it memorable. Leisurely walks through the neighborhood, a staple of our family’s routine, became even more delightful with our guests. Sharing the serene beauty of our surroundings, the crisp air, and the changing leaves brought us all closer, reminding us of the importance of simply being together.
In these few days, our home witnessed numerous stories, from childhood memories resurfacing to plans for the future being discussed. Every room echoed with the sound of familial love, a reminder of the invisible threads that connect us, no matter the distance.
As they prepare to head back to the city, our home feels a bit emptier, but our hearts are undoubtedly fuller. Until their next visit, we’ll hold on to these precious moments, a testament to the enduring power of family and the simple joy of togetherness.
Until next time!

Wait, what’s a Grey Cup?
The Grey Cup arriving in Hamilton on the HMCS Harry DeWolf is a momentous occasion! For our newsletter readers who might not be familiar, the Grey Cup is indeed the championship trophy awarded annually to the Canadian Football League (CFL) winner. It’s a significant event in Canadian sports, akin to the Super Bowl in the United States, but with its own unique charm and history.
The arrival of the Grey Cup on the HMCS Harry DeWolf, the lead ship of its class for the Royal Canadian Navy, adds a layer of national pride to the event. This showcases a blend of Canadian military prestige and sporting tradition. It’s not just a sports trophy; it’s a symbol of national unity and community spirit.
Seeing the Grey Cup land at Hamilton’s Pier 8 was a thrilling experience for Kat and me. Pier 8, known for its scenic views and vibrant atmosphere, was buzzing with excitement. The city of Hamilton, although not hosting its own team, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, in the final, has embraced the Grey Cup festivities with open arms. The energy in the city is palpable, with fans from across the country converging to celebrate Canada’s beloved game.
This year’s Grey Cup game is more than just a sports event; it’s a celebration of Canadian culture and spirit. As we eagerly anticipate tonight’s big game, let’s remember the unity and joy that events like this bring to our communities.
Woof, woof! 🐾
Hello, fellow furry friends and paw-rents! It’s Boujee and Dapper, the dynamic duo of French Bulldogs, and we’re here to fill you in on the paw-some week we’ve had.
First things first, can we talk about the weather? It’s been a wild ride! The air got crisper, and suddenly, the leaves decided to have a party and cover our entire yard. Now, we love a good run in the leaves, but let us tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks with all those crunchy obstacles. Nonetheless, we managed to have some fun, albeit with a few leafy mishaps.
But here’s the real scoop – our excitement hit the roof when Kat brought out our stylish sweaters. Picture this: two Frenchies, decked out in almost matching sweaters, strutting our stuff in the autumn breeze. We’re not saying we’re fashion icons, but we might have turned a few heads in the neighborhood.
And that’s not even the best part! This week, our dad’s family decided to drop by for a visit. Santino and Jackie, oh, the love we have for them is immeasurable. But guess what? We got to meet Chantal for the first time ever! Can you believe it? New faces, new scents – it was a sniffing extravaganza, let us tell you.
Now, let’s talk about the evening snuggles. Life is good, but evening snuggles are the absolute best. We’ve got Santino on one side, Jackie on the other, and now, adding to the mix, the lovely Chantal. It’s a snuggle fest, and we’re right in the middle of it, feeling all warm and fuzzy.
Stay tuned for more adventures from your favorite French bulldogs, because we’re living our best lives, one pawprint at a time! ❤️
