Villlhelllm: How do You even Spell It?
Canuck the Kat! 🇨🇦
O Canada, it happened! After the unexpected delay I mentioned previously, it finally happened—on a random Sunday evening, I received the long-awaited email invitation.
On July 13th, surrounded by Damian, and our faithful Boujee and Dapper, we embarked on a unique and memorable experience. The ceremony, conducted over video, was an opportunity to share this milestone with loved ones.
Damian, always thoughtful and supportive, sat beside me throughout the virtual ceremony, providing a comforting presence. The dogs, too, added their own touch of warmth and joy to the occasion. It was truly heartwarming.
As the ceremony drew to a close, a wave of emotion washed over me. Together, we raised our voices and proudly sang the Canadian national anthem, “O Canada.” This resonated deeply within me, marking the culmination of a journey filled with perseverance, resilience, and the unwavering pursuit of a personal accomplishment.
As I reflect on the hurdles and surprises that dotted my path, I am reminded once again that life is full of unexpected twists. Technology may have faltered momentarily, but it couldn’t dampen my spirit or deter my determination. The resilience and strength that lie within us always prevail.
To my fellow Vilhelmians, I encourage you to embrace the unpredictability of life and cherish the stories that arise from its surprises. Our journeys may not always unfold as planned, but it is through these unexpected detours that we grow, learn, and appreciate the beauty of life.

If our house could talk!
It’s me, the house, and I have some juicy gossip to share with you all! Those two humans that live here have been slacking off on all the projects I’ve given them. The tall one keeps buying sanders and making excuses about the weather for not staining my deck. I mean, come on, how many sanders does he need? I think he just wants an excuse to buy more tools!
And don’t even get me started on the Kat. She’s been turning the baby’s room into a mini storage unit with all the stuff she keeps adding in there. I’m just glad they finally picked a room for the little one. But if that kid draws on me, they better have some washable paint!
Anyway, that’s all the latest gossip from me. Stay tuned for more updates on the antics of my human inhabitants!

We are addicted to Facebook MarketPlace
Are you addicted to Facebook Marketplace like I am? I must confess, I’ve become a little obsessed with finding deals and selling stuff on the platform. It’s like a treasure hunt, but instead of gold, I’m finding pre-loved stuff that needs a new home.
My addiction started innocently enough when my friend Moe told me about a guy selling sod at a great price. It was like a shady deal you do in a nightclub, but we went for it anyway. Before we knew it, we had a pile of SOD that we didn’t need. But instead of throwing it away, we decided to sell it on Facebook Marketplace. And what do you know? Someone came to our house the next day and picked it up. It was like magic!
Now, I’m using Facebook Marketplace to sell all sorts of things, from computer gadgets to photography equipment to home automation gear. And let me tell you, it’s been an adventure. I’ve had to deal with some low-ballers, but overall, people have been pretty good.
I’m also a buyer. Recently, I purchased a Peloton Bike, and just last week, I bought an inversion table to help with my lower back pain.
If you’re like me and addicted to Facebook Marketplace, stay tuned for my future newsletter, where I’ll share some tips and tricks for navigating the platform. Who knows? Maybe we’ll find some hidden treasures together.

Goodbye, Jojo
With a heavy heart, we share the news of the passing of one of our dear neighbors, Jojo. Although we hadn’t known her for long, she warmly welcomed us into the neighborhood. Jojo shared a lot about the area’s history, her family, and the history of our house and its previous owners. She enjoyed Kat’s homemade bread and loved to say hi to the dogs.
Losing someone is never easy. It is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment we have with our loved ones. As we mourn the loss of Jojo, we also celebrate her life and the memories she has given us.
We offer our deepest condolences to Jojo’s family and friends during this difficult time. May they find comfort and peace in the memories they shared with her.
We would like to end this post with a prayer for Jojo:
“Dear God, we pray for Jojo’s soul to rest in peace. May she find eternal happiness in your loving embrace. We also pray for her family and friends to find strength and comfort in this difficult time. Amen.”
Woof Woof! 🐾
Woof woof! Boujee and Dapper here, reporting on a whirlwind of a week in our pawsome household. It’s been quite the adventure, and we couldn’t wait to share all the juicy details with you, dear Vilhelmians!
First things first, let’s talk about our dads. Oh boy, have they been busy! Our tall human seems to be more preoccupied with something called Facebook Marketplace than getting his hands dirty with the deck. The house practically speaks for itself, but hey, who are we to complain?
Speaking of distractions, the Kat, or as we affectionately call her, our other human, has been buzzing around like a busy bee. Her mind has been occupied with a momentous occasion—the Canadian oath ceremony! We’re so proud of her for becoming an official Canadian citizen. And if that wasn’t enough, she also landed a new job! Our Kat is certainly making waves, and we couldn’t be happier for her.
Amidst the chaos, though, we must say that our humans have been sure to shower us with an ample amount of pets and love. They never forget to make time for belly rubs and playtime, which always brings us joy. Their love is like a warm hug that wraps around our furry hearts, and we feel lucky to have such caring companions by our side.
Keep giggling those butts and savoring every belly rub. Remember, even in the midst of a busy week, there’s always room for joy and a good old-fashioned adventure!
Woofs and tail wags,
Boujee and Dapper ❤️
