Life Update: the Move! 🚚🏡
Moving to a new home can be a daunting task, especially when you have pets. However, with the help of a great team of movers, our move to Hamilton was pretty seamless!
Damian, and I had been planning our move to Hamilton since December. We were excited about the prospect of starting a new life in a new city, but we were also anxious about the logistics of the move.
Fortunately, we found a great team of movers! They were very professional, efficient, and caring towards Boujee & Dapper, which made the process so much easier for us.

29 Again!
As I turned 29 once again, I found myself reflecting on the past year’s highs and lows, as I usually do. However, this year was different. I had just moved and was swamped with work, leaving me no time to look back. But fate had other plans for me. A quick 30-minute trip turned into a four-hour journey due to a snowstorm, but that unexpected detour gave me ample time for introspection.
Looking back on the day, I am grateful for the blessings in my life. My amazing girlfriend Kat surprised me with a donut cake and a heartfelt birthday video featuring greetings from my family and friends, which was a wonderful surprise that made my day even more special. Moments like these remind me of the love and support I have day in and day out.
I’m thankful for my wonderful friends who have always been there for me, no matter what. They’ve listened to my wild ideas, helped me through difficult moments, and celebrated with me when good things happen. I feel so lucky to have such great people.
I’m also thankful for my furry companions, Dapper and Boujee, who are an essential part of my life and have taught me the power of patience and unconditional love. Additionally, I’m exploring my spirituality and finding solace in a newfound faith in a higher power.
Looking ahead to 2024, I’m excited about exploring new horizons in my new city. I aim to make new friends, keep old ties, and continue on my path of personal growth. Although last year was a challenge, I’m optimistic that the upcoming one will be better. I want to make a difference in the world and contribute to improving the lives of others.
Finally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. Your kind words truly touched my heart. And to those who may have missed it, it’s alright, I still hold you dear. Just make sure to mark your calendars for February 27th, 2024.
Frenchie Update 🐾
Woof woof! This is Boujee and Dapper, and we want to share our first week in Hamilton with you!
First things first: the snow. We had never seen so much snow before! We love it! Rolling around in it is one of our favourite things to do. We love the way it feels on our fur, and we love how it makes us feel so happy!
Another highlight of our first week in Hamilton was our dad’s birthday. We woke up early and wished him a happy birthday with lots of giggles! Our dad was so happy to see us, and he loved the donut cake that we got for him. We couldn’t eat any, but we could tell by the look on his face that it was delicious.
To show our dad how much we love him, we gifted him one of his favourite tools. It felt great to do something special for him on his birthday as he is always taking care of us!
Overall, our first week in Hamilton has been amazing. We love the snow, we love our new neighbourhood, and most of all, we love being with our little family. We can’t wait to see what the rest of our time here has in store for us. Woof woof! ❤️
