Tiny Tales from Alyce's Weekly Wonders
Hi everyone! It’s me, Alyce! Guess what? I’m so excited because there are more and more Christmas decorations around our house! I love it! Everywhere I look, there are sparkly things, twinkling lights, and big red socks hanging up. Big socks? My nanny TayTay told me they are called stockings, and she said I should start looking out for mine soon. Ooh, that sounds fun! I can't wait to see what’s in mine!

But wait—before that—there’s something even bigger happening! My birthday is coming soon! I’m counting down the days. My mom’s been so busy getting ready for my party, and I heard there are lots of people who want to come and celebrate with me. Yay! I’m super excited to meet them all!

Oh! And guess what? I have a secret! I have a little Santa outfit waiting for me. Shh, don’t tell anyone! I’m going to wear it when the holiday season comes, and it’s going to be the best thing ever! But for now, I’m just enjoying all the preparations, the holiday vibes, and—of course—my mom’s party planning for my special day.

It’s been such a busy time at home. My mom is working, and she’s been so focused on that, so the house is a bit behind on getting everything decorated. But that's okay, I’m still discovering so much! Every day is a new chance for me to learn about all the fun things in life, like stockings, Christmas trees, and birthday parties. It’s so much fun!

D-20! (That’s 20 days until my big day!) I’m so ready for all the love, presents, and celebrations. Until then, I’ll be busy exploring and soaking up all the Christmas magic. I’ll keep you posted on my adventures!

With lots of love, Alyce 💕
Happy 4th Birthday, Dapper !
Today, we celebrate not just another year but four incredible years with our beloved dog, Dapper. It feels like just yesterday when I brought him home for the first time—so small with those big ears! He was playful yet shy, and from that moment, we formed an unbreakable bond.

Thank You, Dapper! On this special day, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude:
- Thank you for taking me on walks every day, filling my life with fresh air and adventure.
- Thank you for protecting our family from squirrels, skunks, and raccoons, always alert and ready to defend your loved ones.
- Thank you for being the best floor cleaner whenever Alyce drops food—your dedication to keeping our home tidy is unmatched!
- Thank you for being my best friend during my times of need. Your presence brings comfort that words cannot describe.
I never knew unconditional love until I got dogs. If there ever was an emotional support dog, it would be you, Dapper. Your kind yet sometimes mischievous spirit adds so much joy to our lives. As much as I want to be mad at you when you take my shoes or the Nerf toys and chew on them, I know that's just your way of showing love and happiness.

As I reflect on these four years, I’m reminded of the bittersweet reality of dog ownership: they don’t live as long as we do. This thought often weighs heavy on my heart. However, it’s a reminder of why having a dog is so incredible—they give everything they have to us. The lessons in unconditional love and loyalty are invaluable.I promise, no matter what happens, I will always be there for you! You have taught me so much about love and companionship.

To honor Dapper’s birthday, we’re planning a little party at home with his favorite treats and some fun toys. I encourage all of you to share your favorite memories with your pets this week! Let’s spread the love and joy that our furry friends bring into our lives. Thank you for being part of our journey with Dapper. Here’s to many more years of adventures together!

With love,

Dad
Woof Woof! 🐾
Bonjour, les amis! It’s me, Boujee—your favorite French bulldog and, quite possibly, the finest party planner this side of the Atlantic (don’t tell anyone, but I might be better at it than Kat). Tomorrow is Dapper’s BIG day! Oh, yes, you heard that right! He’s turning the ripe age of FOUR. Now, I know what you’re thinking—but Boujee, he doesn’t seem four! I know, I know... he's still got that puppy face (I think that’s what happens when you're a Frenchie), but trust me, he's reached a very important milestone in life: a full 4 years of stealing my spot on the bed, getting into my front window, and acting like he's the boss. C’est la vie, right?

Now, as a true party planner (it’s in my blood), I’ve got everything set for tomorrow. And when I say “everything,” I mean I have a very well thought-out plan... in my head. Kat helped me get all the supplies. The decorations are going to be magnifique. I’m talking balloons, and maybe even a bunting (that’s a fancy word for mini flags, in case you didn’t know). And the pièce de résistance? A cake! A bone looking like a cookie cake for a Frenchie... to be devoured in 3 seconds flat. Kat’s a little worried about the mess, but hey, it’s a party. Let them eat cake, right?

Oh, but that’s not all, les amis. There will be presents. Gifts, if you will. And you know what’s on my list? A squeaky chicken! I’ve had my eye on it since it arrived from the store. The best part? Alyce is TERRIFIED of it. I have no idea why—it squeaks, it’s cute, it’s... deliciously annoying. I’m just saying, if I happen to "borrow" the squeaky chicken from Dapper during the festivities, well, it’s all in the name of celebration, non?

Now, let’s talk about the birthday boy himself. What’s he doing today, you ask? Absolutely nothing, of course. He’s currently lounging on his bed (my pillow, mind you), looking like he owns the place. He’s got that signature “I’m too cool for this birthday party” look on his face. But that’s just Dapper for you—he’s too chill for his own good. Meanwhile, I’m over here planning the event of the century, and he’s acting like it’s just another Saturday. Sigh, c’est la vie.
But no matter how unbothered he may seem, tomorrow’s his day. And as much as I complain about him stealing my toys and getting all the attention (why does everyone love him so much?), I’ve got to admit... I love him. Happy birthday, Dapper! You may steal my pillow, but you’ll always be my number one party animal.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a birthday to prepare for. I’m off to make sure the squeaky chicken is ready for the big day. Vive le Dapper!
À bientôt, Boujee

P.S. Note to self: remind Kat to stop stealing the squeaky chicken when I'm not looking. It’s supposed to be for Dapper. Or... for me.
