#124 - Two Days with the Dads

With Mom away in Ottawa for a couple of days, Alyce keeps busy with the dads and nanny TayTay, spotting her beloved ducks on the water trail. Auntie Sharon visits too, bonding over 'shums,' avocado and ice cream.

Hi there! It’s me, Alyce! What a week it has been! Mom had to leave for a work trip to Ottawa for a couple of days. It was only two days, but they felt pretty long at first, but you know what? It was actually a breeze staying with the dads! We've got a nice little routine now, so we all know what to do. And guess what? TayTay was here to help during the day, so I stayed busy and had lots of fun!

TayTay took me on walks, and oh my gosh, we saw real ducks ! I love ducks! They’re definitely one of my favorite animals. There were so many of them by the water trail, and they even came close to us. It was so cool—I’m still talking about them!

While my parents are deciding where we’ll go for summer vacation, I can't help but wonder what's in store. I’m so curious! There are so many places to explore, and I know it’s going to be exciting!

Oh, and did I mention Auntie Sharon came to visit? We are the best of friends, let me tell you. We keep each other in check with “shums” (my favorite word, by the way), and she gives me all the love. We have a special bond, especially when it comes to our shared passion for avocado and ice cream ! Yum! I made sure to show her how much I’ve grown since she last saw me in December. I’ve come such a long way, and I’m so happy to have all these amazing people around me, supporting me every day.
