Hi Everyone!
It’s me, Alyce! Here to share all the exciting updates from my world!
This week has been quite eventful for me! Monday, my first Easter! Though I did not go on an egg hunt, but my neighbours gave me this little, mini, tiny, cutie rabbit! Then on Tuesday, mom and dad took me out to the backyard for some moss pole making, it was sooo good, I slept the entire time! On Wednesday, mommy and daddy spoke to the neurologist and guess what?! The doctor said my DNA looks just like theirs! So, for now, we don’t have to worry about neurology stuff. Yay! Next up is something called a swallow study on April 17th. I’m not sure what that is, but I’m sure it’ll be another adventure!
Oh, and let me tell you about my new favorite thing: FOOD! Mommy and daddy are introducing me to all sorts of yummy flavors. I’ve tasted apples, yogurt, and best of all, grapes! They’re so juicy and delicious, just like my mommy and daddy say. No wonder they always have them at home!
Speaking of family, we had two special birthdays this week: my grandpa Karel and my uncle Charlie! Happy birthday to both of you! I can’t wait to meet you in person soon. I bet we’ll have so much fun together!
And guess what? I had my first nap on the big bed with daddy this week! It was so cozy and warm, just like being cuddled up in mommy’s arms. I think I’ll definitely have to do that again sometime.

Spring has sprung, and with the fresh blooms and sunnier days, our home has been buzzing with the usual excitement – and a bit of extra fur and dust, thanks to our lovely dogs and the whirlwind that is Alyce. As we dive into this week’s updated edition, we wanted to share a journey that has recently captured our attention and might just pique yours too: the quest for the perfect robot vacuum.
For years, we’ve navigated the world of robot vacuums, almost exclusively with iRobot models. They’ve been our faithful dust-busting allies, tirelessly navigating the nooks and crannies of our home. However, it’s not been without its quirks – from adventurous units going MIA to unfortunate encounters with cables and, dare we say, pet surprises. Despite these mishaps, we remained loyal, mainly because they offered a glimpse of a hands-free cleaning future we all dream of.
Interestingly, a recent read on the rise and fall of iRobot caught our eye. It shed light on how iRobot, a pioneer in the robot vacuum industry, seems to have been outpaced by competitors in technological advancements. While iRobot focused on marketing, their rivals were busy addressing the very issues we’ve been grumbling about: navigational mishaps, and the dreaded pet mess encounters.
This revelation spurred us to explore what’s new in the robot vacuum world. And folks, it’s quite the technological renaissance! The introduction of LiDAR and cameras has revolutionized how these little helpers see the world, eliminating the bumper-car routine with furniture and, importantly, making pet accidents a non-issue. Yes, you read that right – modern robot vacuums can now detect and avoid pet messes, thanks to AI and sophisticated imaging. What’s more, we’ve discovered models that don’t just vacuum but mop too! Imagine the possibilities – more playtime with Alyce and the dogs, and less time worrying about spills and fur.
There’s something about a clean floor that brings an undeniable smile to a person’s face, particularly for those of us with a keen eye for tidiness (or a slight touch of ADHD). The seamless glide of a vacuum, leaving behind nothing but cleanliness, is a simple yet profound joy. It’s these moments of spotless floors and peaceful surroundings that remind us of the small victories in our daily lives. It’s not just about cleanliness; it’s about creating a space where our minds can relax and our hearts can be happy.

Salut, les amis! It’s us, Boujee et Dapper, the dynamic duo of French bulldog fabulousness, here to brighten your day with tales of our latest escapades. We’ve been living the high life, as always, and Easter brought a whole new level of excitement into our pampered existence.
So, picture this: it’s Easter Monday, and what’s on the agenda for us? New toys, bien sûr! Our dad knows us so well. He got us these adorable rabbit toys – one for moi and one for Dapper. But let’s be real, sharing is caring, right? So, naturally, we ended up swapping toys faster than you can say “treats, please!”
Speaking of treats, Easter also means indulging in some extra snacks. Chocolate might be off-limits for us (thanks, human safety rules), but that doesn’t stop us from eyeing those colorful eggs with curiosity. Who knows, maybe next year we’ll get our very own dog-friendly Easter egg hunt. A pup can dream, non?
Now, let’s talk about our daytime adventures. When our parents are away, we get to hang out with Alyce, the coolest human ever. She’s like our personal playmate, always ready for a game of fetch or a cuddle session on the couch. And let’s not forget about Nurse Anne – she’s like the queen of pets, showering us with affection whenever she’s around. It’s like being royalty, but with more belly rubs.
But wait, there’s more! We’ve been patiently waiting for the weather to cooperate so we can hit the streets in our family wagon. There’s nothing quite like cruising around town with the wind in our fur and the sun on our faces. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to show off our matching bandanas – because every fashion-forward Frenchie knows that coordination is key.
