As you know, we’re no novices when it comes to AI. From leveraging ChatGPT to exploring other AI tools, we’ve always viewed AI as a means to augment our personal and professional endeavors. But recently, we’ve noticed a surge in AI-generated images, and now, AI is making significant inroads into video creation.

Eager to dive into this new frontier, we decided to create our very first AI-generated video featuring none other than our beloved Alyce. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but hey, it’s all part of the learning process, right? Venturing into the AI space feels like exploring the Wild West, equipped with new tools and a fresh set of skills to master. And yes, with these new apps come their fair share of bugs and challenges.

While we’re still on the fence about making this a regular feature in our newsletter, we couldn’t resist the allure of experimenting with something new. If Our House Could Talk: More Than Meets the Eye

Dear Friends, Family, Readers and the Occasionally Lost Delivery Person,

As the seasons change and dust gathers, it’s time for another update from your favorite grumbling, yet ever-patient abode. Today’s tale revolves around an adult, affectionately dubbed “The Collector” (a title he vastly prefers over “big ass kid”), and his ever-expanding universe of Transformers toys within my walls.

The Collector’s Creed: More Than Meets the Eye

Transformers, those marvels of the 80s that could shift from vehicle to robot in a mere handful of moves, have taken over. What used to be a simple twist-and-turn affair has now evolved into complex rituals requiring up to 45 steps. The Collector, in his eternal wisdom, has filled my rooms with these shape-shifting warriors, claiming benefits that I, in my creaky old age, struggle to see.

The Alleged Benefits of Transformer Collecting: A House’s Skeptical Take

• Problem-Solving or Clutter-Creating? Each new arrival prompts a strategic placement challenge. While The Collector sees a puzzle being solved, I see my spacious ambiance being steadily consumed by plastic and metal figures.

• Spatial Awareness or Spatial Takeover? Maneuvering through the transformation process might enhance The Collector’s spatial skills, but it’s my space that’s dwindling, corner by corner.

• Fostering Creativity or Collecting Dust? There’s no denying the creativity involved in transforming a semi-truck into a robot. However, it’s not just creativity that’s being fostered; it’s also a burgeoning community of dust bunnies.

• Encouraging Patience or Testing Mine? The Collector preaches patience in mastering each transformation. Meanwhile, I’m practicing patience of a different sort, dreaming of a day when my floors are visible again.

• Stress Relief or Stress for the Housekeeper? While The Collector finds joy and relaxation in his hobby, the housekeeper faces a daily gauntlet, navigating a plastic-infested landscape with a vacuum and a wish for simpler times.

• Building Community or Hoarding? True, The Collector has found camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts, sharing triumphs and tips. It’s a bond I can appreciate, even if it means playing host to more robots than humans.

In Reflection and a Childhood Promise Fulfilled

Despite my grumbles, I recognize the joy these Transformers bring to The Collector. His childhood promise, remembered from a time when his mother told him he could one day buy any toy he wanted if he was good, has been fulfilled beneath my roof. His collection, while challenging my structural integrity, brings him happiness, and isn’t that what a home is for?

So, as I brace myself for the next convoy of Transformers, I do so with a grudging respect for The Collector’s passion and a secret wish that my foundations remain strong amidst the onslaught.

Salut, les amis! It’s Boujee et Dapper here, reporting live from the cozy confines of our humble abode. Let us tell you, this week has been quite the rollercoaster ride, complete with twists, turns, and a weather forecast that can’t seem to make up its mind. C’est la vie, non?

First things first, let’s talk about this weather. One day, it’s snowing like we’re in the middle of a winter wonderland, and the next, it’s as if spring decided to crash the party early. Mother Nature, can you please make up your mind? We’re just two stylish French bulldogs trying to plan our daily strolls, and your mood swings are throwing us for a loop!

But wait, there’s more drama to unpack. Our beloved human, Alyce, has been quite the busy bee this week. Between doctor’s appointments and unexpected trips to the ER (thanks to a little mishap with her NG tube), she’s been keeping us on our paws.

Despite the chaos, there’s one thing that’s been bringing us endless joy: snuggling up in the living room with Alyce and our dads. Ah, the simple pleasures of life—nothing beats a cozy cuddle sesh with the ones you love. We’re eagerly awaiting the day when Alyce can join us on our adventures around the house. There’s so much to see, smell, and explore!

In the meantime, we’ll continue to hold down the fort and keep the home fires burning. After all, every cloud has a silver lining, and ours is the unconditional love we share with our family. Stay tuned for more updates from your favorite furry duo. Until next time, au revoir!
