Villlhelllm: How do You even Spell It?

I am Russian! NOT! 😭

Ever since I met Damian, he’s made jokes about my Eastern European heritage. While I was born in the Czech Republic, Russia had a long presence in the country, and I experienced it firsthand as a child. So I decided to take a DNA test to understand my ancestry better. Four months later, here we are! Lo and behold, it turns out I’m 83% Eastern European and Russian, with a sprinkling of Germanic, Baltic, Balkan, and Scandinavian in there too. I guess Damian was onto something after all!

A Trip to Remember: Falling in Love with Chicago

Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to Chicago for work. I have to say, I was completely blown away by the city’s charm and character. From its iconic architecture to its delicious food and friendly people, Chicago has so much to offer.

Stop using the word busy! One of my leaders told us this week that she’s going to make an effort to stop using the word “busy” when they can’t meet with their team. She explained that it made people feel like she wasn’t available when she actually was, and it made her feel like people thought she didn’t care. It took me a minute to really understand what she meant, but it makes sense. Sometimes you’re just prioritizing other things in life, and that’s okay. You’re not saying you don’t care, you just need to make time for everything.

Every time I visit, I can’t help but fall deeper in love with the Windy City. Despite its size, there’s a certain cozy vibe that’s so Chicago, and that’s totally my thing. I’m already looking forward to my next trip, and I’m even planning to bring Kat along so she can experience the magic of Chicago once again.

If you’ve never been to Chicago, I highly recommend adding it to your travel list. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Happy travels!

Frenchie Update 🐾

Woof woof! It’s Boujee and Dapper here, reporting live from our week with Kat! Our dad, Damian, had to go to Chicago for work, so we’ve been keeping Kat company while he’s away. Of course, we’ve missed our dad, but we have to say, we’ve been living the high life with Kat.

We’ve spent a lot of time napping in her office, which is pretty cozy if you ask us. Plus, we’ve gone on some fantastic walks along the water and marina. It’s been quite the change of scenery for us, and we’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

Don’t get us wrong, we love our dad to bits, but sometimes it’s nice to mix things up a bit. We’ve had lots of cuddles with Kat, and she’s given us plenty of love too!

We’re excited for our dad to come back and give us all the belly rubs we’ve been missing, but we’re also grateful for this little adventure with Kat.

Until next time, woof woof! ❤️
