Villlhelllm: How do You even Spell It?

I’m Done with My MBA Course 📗

I made it! Through a journey of hard work and dedication, especially considering the fact that I had to balance it with a full-time job, moving to a new house, and a couple of other things life throws at us.

I must admit some of the chapters were hard, but with determination and support, I was able to overcome every obstacle that came my way. I am grateful for Damian, who is always being my rock! He provided me with encouragement to keep me going when things got tough.

Moreover, I appreciate the fact that in our relationship, we push each other through challenges and elevate each other to new heights. Completing this course has been an achievement for me, and I am proud of myself for persevering and coming out on top.

Overall, I am grateful for this experience, and I can confidently say that I am ready for whatever challenges come my way. I am excited to see what the future holds 🤞🏼

European Dogs, European Girlfriend, European House, and a European Lock! 🔐

The first thing you’re supposed to do when moving into a new place is to change the locks, unless you’re a fan of unexpected visitors. But when our door turned out to be a European puzzle, we were left scratching our heads. We called local locksmiths, but all they could offer were puzzled expressions. So, we did what any sane person would do – we called in the big guns. Kat’s dad, the lock whisperer, came to our rescue. With his help, we were able to get a lock shipped all the way from the Czech Republic. Who knew that locking up our home could turn into an international adventure? Thank you, Dad!

Little Baby Sealey 🍼

Last week, Mike and Chanelle had an awesome baby shower in Toronto. The venue looked amazing with balloons, food and flowers, and everyone who attended felt welcomed. Friends and family came together to celebrate the newest addition to the family.

Mike and Chanelle looked incredibly happy and excited. Their joy was contagious! They beamed the entire time, and it was clear that they are going to be awesome parents.

As their friends and trusted advisors, we are thrilled to be a part of their journey into parenthood. We can’t wait to watch their little one grow up and thrive and to offer our support whenever they need it. We have no doubt that they will be phenomenal parents, and we are grateful to be a part of their lives for years to come.

Frenchie Update 🐾

Woof woof! It’s Boujee and Dapper here, reporting on our exciting week at home!

But amidst all the fun, we couldn’t forget to wish our amazing grandma a very happy birthday! We love her so much and can’t wait to visit her again soon. In fact, Boujee never wants to leave her house when we’re there – she loves all the extra attention and cuddles she gets!

Grandma, we hope your day was filled with lots of treats, belly rubs, and all the things that make you happiest.

Thanks for always being there for us, Grandma. You’re the best!

Happy Birthday, Mom ❤️

Last week was very special as we celebrated my Mom’s 86th birthday. Although I couldn’t celebrate with her in person as I was in Chicago for work, I want to express my gratitude for her being a strong and resilient woman who has been a guiding light for me through both good times and bad. Her unwavering strength and love have been a constant comfort and motivation for me to be a better person.

As another year passes, I reflect on my Mom’s amazing journey and the numerous obstacles she has overcome. She has taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. My mother’s advice has always been a source of inspiration for me. As we age, we realize the significance of her teachings, particularly when it comes to avoiding mistakes. Her intention is for us to improve, even if she sometimes delivers a tough pill to swallow.

On this special day, I would like to share a quote that my Mom has always emphasized in our family: “Forgiveness is the key to a happy and peaceful life.” Her words have always stuck with me and remind me of the importance of letting go of grudges and embracing forgiveness. Another quote that resonates with me is, “If yuh can’t hear yuh mus’ feel.” This means that paying attention and listening carefully can help us avoid negative consequences.

Mom, thank you for being you! I love you no matter what. I hope you are enjoying the African Violets that Kat got for you and Cheers to another year around the sun!
